Write to team@internalcast.com and we will get back to you. It helps if you mention your device, your iOS version and what you were doing when the problem happened. Please do not send photographs of children — we do not need them to help you.
Wickabee says it needs Apple Intelligence
Wickabee writes stories and creates artwork using Apple Intelligence, which runs on the device itself. It works on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max and on every iPhone released since — the 16, 17 and 18 lineups, iPhone 16e, iPhone 17e, iPhone Air and iPhone Duo — and on iPad Pro and iPad Air with M1 or later or iPad mini with A17 Pro. You also need iOS or iPadOS 26 or later.
If your device qualifies but the app still reports a problem, open Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri and make sure Apple Intelligence is switched on. The models download in the background the first time and need roughly 7 GB of free space, so keep the device on Wi-Fi and charging. Inside the app, Settings → Creation Status tells you exactly which part is not ready yet.
A story failed to finish
Generation happens on your device and can be interrupted if the app is closed or the device is locked for a long time. An interrupted book stays in your library with a Retry badge — open it and Wickabee will continue from where it stopped. Your previous book is never overwritten by a failed retry.
If a story keeps failing, try a shorter opening line, or a different world. Some phrasing trips Apple’s safety systems even when it seems harmless.
My book has no pictures
Illustrations are created in Apple’s Image Playground, one at a time, and each one is generated and accepted by you rather than in the background — Apple does not allow an app to create images while it is hidden. If you left before finishing, open the book and choose Create Remaining, or press and hold the book in your library and choose Retry Artwork.
A word I typed was rejected
Wickabee checks the names, places and opening lines you type before they reach the model, and Apple applies its own safety systems on top. Both are deliberately cautious for a children’s app, so an ordinary word is occasionally caught. Rephrasing usually solves it.
I lost my books
Books live only on your device. There is no Wickabee account and no cloud copy, which is why we never see your stories — but it also means we cannot restore them. Deleting the app deletes the library. Recovery is only possible from a full device backup you made yourself. Use Share Book to export a PDF of anything you want to keep.
What language are the stories in?
English. A language ships only when the stories and the entire interface are ready in it together, so there is nothing to switch yet and no language setting in the app.
Reporting something inappropriate
Stories and pictures are generated automatically and are not reviewed by us, so please read a book before sharing it with your child. If Wickabee produced something you believe is genuinely unsafe, tell us what you entered and what came back, and we will adjust the filters. Do not send us the image itself.
Privacy and legal
Wickabee has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking, and your library stays on your device. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Privacy requests can be sent to the same address above.
